steam...place hot water in a bowl, and hold your face over it to open up the pores. then wash whilst pores are open. dry with CLEAN towel! this should wash the dirt out that causes blackheads!!

You need to get an exfoliating cream. I use Clean%26amp;Clear Blackhead clearing scrub. I have been battling with that problem since i was fifteen, im 27 now. ive tried 100's of products, this is the best thing I've ever used even better than RX ive gotten from dermatologists. You have to wash your face with it daily. If you dont use it daily then they will retrun so I know it works. It's a Johnson%26amp;Johnson product. It comes in a blue clear tube, costs about 4-5 bucks. I actually found a facial oil that slows down your skins oil production, clears up pimples/ acne and dissolves black heads within 4-8 weeks I put all the info on my blog as it's quite detailed:

Black heads are basically a hardened oil mixture that was secreted from your pores and oxidized (which makes the outside part black) and since water and oil don't mix, no water based product can ';clean'; your blackheads away, just try say putting certain foundations or makeups on the mirror and if you wipe it with water it smudges all over but put a little baby oil and wipe and tada! it comes off super clean AND dissolves it. So this is basically how this oil works. It's composition is such that the skin accepts it as a healing oil and it does not clog your skin but rather protects it while the plant extracts inside go down into the pores (this absorption is made possible by applying the toner to the skin before applying the oil and then applying the dabs of oil over your moistened face), it then penetrates into the pores.

I suffer from open pores and blackheads.
I have tried everything, believe me I've tried lotions potions creams and tablets.
In the end I went to my doctors surgery and got a cream and some tablets.
The spots have calmed down a lot. The open pores are still there, nothing is going to help them I don't think. I use clinique pore minimizer but it don't notice any different.
If you are feeling self conscious about it visit your doctor and get something from them. You will be prescribed something stronger that you cannot buy over the counter and should work better.Big pores, acne, blackheads, whiteheads...help???
There are three excellent home remedies for acne, blackheads and whiteheads:
路Use aloe vera juice on the pimples morning and night for as long as necessary (perhaps five months or longer).
路Make orange peel paste by grinding it in some water. Apply on and around pimples.
路Rub garlic on and around pimples.

I have also heard someone say that granulated sugar is good for exfoliating with.

I'VE ALWAYS USED A TOOTHPASTE MASK. BE SURE IT'S A PEROXIDE/ BAKING SODA TOOTHPATER WITH VERY LITTLE SUGAR. SUGAR WILL MAKE YOU BREAK OUT.
