How do you get rid of blackheads and clogged pores?

I have tried every product on the market with no success. Even home remedies don't do anything. How do you get rid of blackheads and clogged pores?
Have you been using cleansers with salicylic acid? If so, and they still don't work then you may have to steam them!!! This is a bit tedious.

1. Steaming the Pores

Steaming can be done as often as twice a week but for no longer than 10 minutes at a time. This is a great way to clean out pores and loosen blackheads.

2. Combine 1/4 cup boiling water with one teaspoon of Epsom salt and three drops of iodine.

Let mixture cool until it's comfortable to the touch.

Saturate a cotton ball with this mixture and dab on blackheads.

This will allow them to loosen so they can be easily squeezed with a gauze pad.

3. Combine equal parts baking soda and water in your hand and rub gently on your skin for 2 to 3 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

After loosening the blackheads, you can extract the blackheads easily. Here are ways to extract blackheads:

1. You can get a metal blackhead removal tool. It is usually available at the chemist's shop. It's long and narrow and has a hole in either end, one large and one small. You choose one end, center it over the blackhead and press down gently. The gentle pressure on the skin sometimes dislodges them quite easily. A lot less stressful than using your fingers.

2. Use a deep cleansing face mask prefferably a clay mask. How do you get rid of blackheads and clogged pores?
there are many way you can buy these pads that you put on your nose that will remobe black heads off of it (if you have any on your nose) and for the clogged pores i would say wait it out cause if you try to mess wit it, it might get ugly.
Honestly, prevention is the best way to get rid of them. Try Clean and Clear face soap. It's orange with a purple lid, and I know they have it at Walmart. Also, the St. Ives Apricot scrub is a really good exfoliate, but I always use the Clean and Clear after it.

As far as getting rid of the ones you already have, I hate having to admit it, but I don't know anything better than just popping them. Get a mirror with a really bright light. Even better would be a mirror that magnifies.
Try using the new Dove Wave. I have one and love it. It simplifies all of the skin care into one thing. Before that I used Clinique's 3 Step System. I didn't really like it. Of course I'm not a big beauty/skin person either.
EXFOLIATE!!!

and if this fails, try getting a facial with a dermaplane or peel. it may be pricey, but it works wonders
i wash my face with clearasil deep cleansing scrub every night before i go to bed. it'll prevent black heads and clogged pores from happening. i used to have black heads on my nose but when i started using it, i never had any kind again because none of my pores were clogged.
sounds like one of the biore products i saw on their website a few mins ago. i would check it out it literally said it got rid of clogged pores and blackheads.
Ok... first of all, you need to do it for about a week.

Step one) Dip a cotton ball into Isopropyl Alcohol

Step two) Rub that over your face [especially where most blackheads are]

Step Three) Wash face in shower

Step Four) Shower everyday

Step Five) Don't eat high fructose corn syrup, it helps create pimples

Step six) Repeat for a week

I hope that helps, if not... sorry. Good Luck!
try biore's warming black head scrub. it did wonders for my face. the first week it sort of dried out your face, but afterwards the dryness went away now i have practically no blackheads at all.
um, i know this sounds weird but wash your face with lemon juice, it works really well, u wash ur face with the lemon juice once in the morning and once at night.
I had really bad acne and all I did was use a sink full of hot water..as hot as a bath would be.

Just put your face in it for 30 seconds at a time and do it 3 time per sink full and do 3 time a day..pat your face dry with a fresh clean towel and in a matter of days it will clear up dramatically...also..keep your pillow cover clean.
omg perfect question.....

i bought this face mask about 4 weeks ago....and it is great...it is especially made to unclog pores which will take away your blackheads...

i had bad blackheads on my t-zone area and a few blemishes....and they are gone

you use this once a week...so it is super easy....i have used it 4 times and my face is CLEAR....

ok its called Steep Clean-professional strength facial mask

and its by the company Bliss

i found mine at www.sephora.com

its a bit expensive but if it is used once a week it will last for months....its a big bottle

so yea...i highly recommend this stuff
whatever you do- DO NOT SQUEEZE.

i know its tempting..but if you squeeze, scratch or pick pimples %26amp; blackhead this will cause scarring which is even worse.

i use proactiv, but this is pretty expensive %26amp; not something you can just go down to the shops %26amp; get.

use some products ecspecially made for clearing blackheads like clean %26amp; clear, nuetrogen %26amp; clearasil.

you could even go see a dermatologist.

i know it sucks, just be patient =]
Use and exfoliating scrub every other day! i also found that those things you put on your nose and rip off work too! and face masks every week or every other week!
try using a three-step process:

1. wash: wet your face before rubbing in an anti-bacterial fash wash. rinse face thoroughly and dry.

2. exfoliate: take a cotton swab and use an alcohol based astringent to lift away dirt and oil.

3. moisturize: rub in an spf-15 or greater moisterizer.

repeat 1-3 a day. it worked for me! i had really bad acne and oily skin, now it looks and feels great!
DO NOT ever squeeze blackheads, it will cause scars!

You might wanna buy those pore strips e.g nose strips. buy good product ones. Biore is an excellent product, good price.

It might not take all of them away, thats when you need to seek a professiona help, a dermotologists exist for good reasons. They will need to use an equipment to take them off. i've tried it, it's not painful. it hurts just a little bit around the nose, nothing serious. Remember, you want to have a good skin all of your life. Dont ruin it by squeezing them, or using cheap products, or any products you find randomly. Your face is a delicate area.
squeeze
To remove blackheads from yr face, massage a small amount of jojoba oil (from health food shop, not expensive $4 max) into yr skin then use a cleansing scrub. The jojoba oil helps to soften the debris and hardened sebum, or oil that clogs the pores. this really does work... good luck
have you tried ProActive? a few years ago when it first came out i did and was amazed, it really works. Also you did not mention your age. If you are a teen or young adult sometimes they will go away over time as long as you wash your face morning and night. but ProActive is GREAT. Look into it.
make sure you wash your face properly with face soap and then pour some boiling water into a bowl ,make a el grey tea broth and cover your head with towel and hold it for 10 minutes ! your face will be like new born baby!
have you tried: clearasil blackhead control.

blackhead control pads. clears away blackhead and purifies.

Duel action pads with acne fighting medicine and purifying sea salt clearaway existing blackheads while cleaning and tightening pores.

Thats what is says on it. i just copied off it. there pads. AND THEY WORK!!!

= ]]
they say not to squeeze, but i do and after i do, i wash my face very good, use an acne wash. every face is different so your going have to experiment. good luck!

i heard pro-active is really good never tried it though.
sharp nails
try washing your face daily
proactive?

you could be alergic to the benz peroxide though.. go see a dermatologist
