How do I minimize pores and get rid of blackheads?

I have sensitive skin (can't handle harsh chemicals or scents). I have a nice complexion - ivory skin with pink undertones, but I have some large pores on my nose and forehead and some under my eyes. I also have teeny tiny blackheads on my nose. You can only see them if you look closely or use a magnifying mirror.

1) Exfoliate. Products I like:


Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads - smooth on one side %26amp; textured on the other for extra exfoliation.





Murad AHA/BHA face wash - exfoliates w/ the AHA/BHA %26amp; jojoba beads.





Avon Microdermabrasion Scrub - evenly sized granules, no added fragrance, rinses clean. Highly effective w/o irritation.





2) Mask





Milk of Magnesia - apply in thin layer where needed %26amp; allow to dry 5-10 mins. Will absorb oil %26amp; tighten pores.





Origins Charcoal Mask or Beauty w/o Cruelty Clay Mask - both work well. Beauty w/o Cruelty is a better bargain.





Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask - benzoyl peroxide/clay combination. Only apply to nose %26amp; where needed. B.p. will help w/ clearing black heads %26amp; clay will absorb oil/tighten pores.How do I minimize pores and get rid of blackheads?

Wash face often!
If you stick to a great regime Am/Pm and exfoliate twice a week and a mask once a week -


you will have some success in a clean face. It may help with your pores. (I have this in my chin)


I have been using a regime by arbonne and it's helped a lot.
You should use the Neutrogena system, its dermatologist tested.The cleanser and toner visibly reduces the appearance of pores and refines skin.

I word of warning never squeeze blackheads pores will be enormous for ever. Use a facisl scrub (those ruth martial spheres) you get the idea and an exfoliateing scrub. Scrub your face and black heads will vanish. I do this once a month - I have No black heads!!!

There is no way any product will minimize pore size.Fractional laser treatments can help with pore size, blackheads, fine lines, scars, any pigment issues, and texture. I swear by these treatments. I tried everything under the sun masks, biore strips, astringents, serums and extractors, IPL treatments you name it. I swear it worked amazing for me.
recently i use cool water to wash my face.


i think my pores had been visibly tightened.
its clear wat u should do to stop it. dont play with them and go a see a dermo
I may not be answering your questions...but technically there is no way that we can actually minimize the pore sizes. All the products you see at stores, they would say ';visibly reduce the appearance of large pores'; or something like that. You can make them less visible but it is not possible to actually reduce the pore sizes.
