There's not a whole lot you can do to close your pores. You have large pores because you have oily skin...again, nothing you can do about it. The only thing you can do is to make sure your skin is clean. Every morning, wash your face with plain soap and hot water (the hot water opens the pores even more, allowing the dirt to be cleared out). Then, use a light moisturizer (oil free) on your face (one that has a SPF of at least 8). Treat blackheads with any treatment that contains ingredients that fight blackheads (can't remember the name of that acid that starts with an S ). Never squeeze your zits, as this can cause scars. Make sure you wash your pillow case every week, as this holds the oil from your face, and can make things worse for your face. There are many products on the market that help treat breakouts. Being an Avon representative, I recommend the Clearskin line, which has everything you need to keep your face clean. If you continue having skin problems, go to a dermatologist, who can give you prescriptions to help you better deal with your skin. Also, you can treat your face to a weekly sauna. Boil a pot of water, set the pot on the table, then throw a towel over your head while you keep your face about 8-12 inches above the pot. Stay in the ';sauna tent'; for about 15-20 minutes. Afterward, use the towel to wipe off your face, then wash with your soap %26amp; use your moisturizer. Keep your routine as simple as possible, so that you're more likely to stick with it. Never go to bed with make-up on. And only wear foundation for special occasions, so as to keep your pores from becoming clogged. If you've already done all you can, then just keep doing it. It's been my experience that most skin types go through stages, and can often clear up, over time. %26lt;*)))%26gt;%26lt;Hw do i close up my pores? blackheads?

first put a very hot wash cloth on face to open them up. wash with a mild cleanser. then rinse with cold water to close them. using a toner usually helps close the pores, and the previous steps help in eliminating black heads.
cleanse skin thoroughly with warm water and a mild exfoliating rince for atleast 2 minutes.
then immediately followed by splashes of cold water.
pat your skin dry with a clean dry towel.
inspect your skin for any open pores, repeat if neccesary.
do this 2-3 times daily followed by a oil free moisterizer.
vaste inprovement after 3 days.
Get a good acne medicine...closing up your pores will only make it worse---that actually will create more zits.
Haha.. I asked my beautician the exact same question and she advised me to use this mask called Petalsence for the pores and blackheads on my nose and cheeks...
She says instead of squeezing, I should be using the mask more often...
What she says works! My pores have become smaller and my skin better!
My friend who has clogging on her skin which became pimples also find her condition improving.

Clearasil has some products that are pretty effectual on blackheads and helping to minimize the size of your pores. Clearasil Blackhead Control Pads is the name of the one that comes to mind right now, about $7.99 for a container of it. Give it a try and see! Best wishes!

keep your face clean. use Noxema triple clean anti - blemish pads that have salicylic acid acne medication in them. use it once in the middle of the day, like on your lunch break everyday. it should start clearing up. and don't forget to wash your face every night.
oh yeah, and keep your hands away from your face. touching your face makes it worse. b/c your hands have oils on them and can make it worse.
When you wash your face with warm or hot water, finish with cool, cold water and ice cubes.
